Motorola R7 two-way radio
We are delighted to have begun the roll-out of the Motorola R7 two-way radio to a major London Hotel. The MOTOTRBO R7 series of two-way radios came to market in Q1 2022. With new technology, the radios offer loud, clear and customisable audio in a rugged and dependable device.
Our client required a radio that was robust, had clear audio and could be easily used by their engineering team. The Motorola R7 two-way radio ticked every box!
The Adaptive Dual Microphone Noise Suppression brings incredible noise cancelling to the radio. This allows the user to be heard over machinery. The intelligent audio monitors background noise thus adjusting the speaker volume so you don’t have to. There is also an acoustic feedback suppression system which cancels out any feedback from any other nearby radios.
The R7 two-way radio is designed and tested to military standard and is therefore a very robust two-way radio. IP66 and IP68, the radios are completely dust-tight and protected from water immersion up to 2 metres deep for 2 hours. The housing material has been designed to resist damage from disinfectants so ensuring that the radio will last through years of use.
With the design features mentioned above, this meant that the R7 was a great fit for the engineering team.
