Motorola Solutions have just announced news of the new Motorola MOTOTRBO R7 two-way radio.  This digital portable two-way radio is due for release in Q1 this year.

The Motorola MOTOTRBO R7 two-way radio offers loud, clear and customisable audio in a rugged, dependable device.  The R7 is available in keypad and non-keypad versions.

The R7 features Adaptive Dual Microphone Noise suppression, which brings outstanding noise cancelling to your device.  Users will be able to hear over the deafening sound of machinery or the roar of a stadium at full capacity.

Engineered with a powerful speaker, the R7 delivers a phenomenal loudness of 102 phons out of the box.

• Customisable audio experience

The R7 can be paired with accessories that are specially designed to make your fleet easier to use and even more capable.

The devices are tested to IP66 and IP68 standards.  This means that the R7 radios are completely dust-tight. The radios are protected from water immersion up to 2 meters deep for 2 hours, as well as high-pressure water jets from any direction.

• Minimised downtime

Batteries are lightweight and compact while providing long battery life.

• Connect and collaborate

The R7 is built with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
