The RugGear RG725 is a new Android 10 rugged smart device. It is built for PTT (push-to-talk) over cellular and is compatible with the Motorola WAVE PTX™ solution.
RugGear RG725 Features
The RG725 features physical controls such as a large PTT button, rotary channel switch and SOS button. It has a powerful 5000 mAh battery, providing long talk and standby times.
The device is rugged and designed to withstand the harshest of environments. Its IP68 rating gives it protection in water up to 1.5m deep for 30 minutes and has resistance against dust. It is also MIL-Std 810G rated for shock resistance.
The RG725 also features a 13-pin headset jack, with a screw hole, for connecting accessories such as a PTT headset or a PTT RSM.
The RugGear RG725 is an adaptable device that can be used in many applications, thanks to the pre-installed Android Play Store.
The user could install APPs for usage control or their own work APPs for example.
The RG725 is another great addition to the devices available for the Motorola WAVE PTX™ solution.
