We are delighted to welcome Motrans Ltd to our client base.  Motrans Ltd are now utilising the Motorola WAVE PTX™ TLK100 and Dispatch to enhance their operation.

Motrans Ltd was established at the beginning of 2016 with the aim of providing cost effective, sustainable and reliable logistics service to all business sectors throughout UK and Europe.

Motorola WAVE PTX™

Motorola Wave PTX™ is a network independent multimedia communication subscription service thats instantly connects your team at a push of a button. The platform operates on a 3G/4G broadband basis.  It roams between 3G/4G and WIFI, picking up the most effective signal.

TLK100

Motrans opted for their fleet drivers to have the TLK100 rather than the TLK150 (typical vehicle fleet radio).  This allows their drivers to have the versatility of using the radio in-cab and on foot.

The drivers have the option of making groups calls or one-to-one calls, keeping in contact with either fellow drivers or HO.  The TLK100 is a robust radio that withstands knocks and drops and has an IP rating of IP54.  The TLK100 comes with a generous battery life of 18 hours, allowing for long distance travel.  The charging arrangement is such that in-vehicle charging is an option.  Critically, the TLK100 allows the fleet and HO to stay connected 24/7 at a push of a button.  Motorola WAVE PTX TLK100 combines 3G/4G and Wi-Fi connectivity to provide fast and reliable broadband PTT communications   This push-to-talk functionality is not just UK based but Europe-wide.  Drivers in say Germany will have instant push-to-talk communication with HO in Grimsby for example.

Dispatch

The Motorola WAVE PTX™ Dispatch enables you to simplify day-to-day operations within the business.  Motrans’ office co-ordinator / dispatcher can log in from anywhere with an internet connection and a standard web browser.  Here, they have access to all the communication tools needed to manage their fleet and co-ordinate an effective operation.

The dispatcher can monitor communication amongst the fleet, make and receive group and individual calls – all at a touch of a button.

Communication is transferred in various formats, with the ability to send text, photos, videos and files to groups or individuals. In addition to these functions, the dispatcher can see the location of each driver, search for an address or point of interest and therefore improve co-ordination and planning of their fleet.  The Dispatch also provides both call logs and location tracking logs, providing a useful management tool.
